J. Butler Shipping Policy

At J. Butler, we take pride in producing apparel and accessories that are crafted with care and delivered responsibly. Many of our products are made to order, allowing us to minimize waste and ensure each item meets the highest standards of quality.

Production and Fulfillment Timeline

Most J. Butler items are produced and fulfilled within 12 to 17 business days from the date of order. This timeline includes both production and preparation for shipment. While we aim to expedite fulfillment whenever possible, this range represents the standard production-to-delivery window for made-to-order items.

Some select styles or limited inventory may be in stock and ready to ship immediately. If a product is on hand, it will typically ship within 3 to 5 business days.

Customers will receive email confirmation and a tracking number once an order has shipped. Tracking will reflect the order number, carrier, and estimated delivery timeline.

Shipping Methods and Rates

We offer the following domestic shipping options:

  • Standard Shipping (Non-Members and Free Members): Flat rate of $12.00 per order.

  • Free Shipping for Free Members: Orders over $100 qualify for free standard shipping.

  • Free Shipping for Paid Members: Orders over $50 qualify for free standard shipping.

Expedited shipping options may occasionally be available at checkout based on your region or the item’s availability.

International Orders

International orders are accepted for select destinations and are typically shipped Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) unless otherwise noted. This means import duties, taxes, and fees may be assessed by your local customs authority upon delivery and are the customer’s responsibility.

Order Processing and Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking details. Please allow up to 48 hours for the carrier to update tracking activity after the label has been created.

All shipments originate from authorized JBG fulfillment centers or facilities.

Delivery Issues and Liability

J. Butler is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged parcels once items have departed JBG fulfillment centers or facilities. If your package appears lost in transit or arrives damaged, please contact the carrier directly with your tracking information for investigation and resolution.

We’re happy to assist with information necessary to support a carrier claim; however, ownership and responsibility for the parcel transfer to the customer upon carrier acceptance.

Incorrect Addresses or Failed Deliveries

Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate at checkout. J. Butler is not responsible for delays or losses due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. If a package is returned to us due to an undeliverable address, the customer may be charged for re-shipment.

Fulfillment Delays

We do our best to meet all estimated delivery times; however, production or carrier delays may occur, especially during peak seasons, holidays, or unforeseen global events. If your order experiences a significant delay, our Client Concierge team will contact you directly with updated information.
